Dragana was born in Serbia just after the breakup of former Yugoslavia and the region's descent into years of eastern European infighting, eventually fleeing with her mother to Turkey. By the time Dragana was 18 she began to pick up freelance work as an armed escort for government agencies and academic teams seeking to secure and protect various archaeological and ancient historic sites. She has traveled throughout eastern Europe, the Mediterranean and extreme northern climes as far north as Kamchatka. She found a niche as an expensive high-end adventure tourism guide, and then a more stable professional specialty and as a government/academic site team 'escort' up and down South America. She recuperated from a particularly serious injury in California for a time, where she discovered a new life, which has now taken her to London. | |||
