	Overview The Aurelianus family are remarkable for being the only family amongst the British Silver Fangs who can trace their ancestry back for over 2000 years and beyond, to a small group of Silver Fangs who attached themselves to the Roman troops in the years leading up to the invasion of Britain. They were strongly associated with the Roman occupation in Britain, and can claim to have been the first Garou to come into conflict with Mithras, nearly being wiped out when they were purged from Londinium in the second century. With the departure of the Roman legions the Aurelianus rose to greater prominence in mortal society as the vampires were forced into torpor or fled. They claim Ambrosius Aurelianus, the last governor of Britain and the final count of the Roman province of Britannia as one of their kin. As the British fell to the Saxons, so did the Silver Fangs of those days fall to the encroaching Get of Fenris and the White Howlers from the north. They fled into the far west in Wales, and there they have remained. These days they have a mixed reputation. They are respected for their lineage, while distrusted for their long standing ties with the Fianna, which some fear has diluted their proud Silver Fang heritage. Their pure breeding is no longer something that one can be certain of, although they themselves remain proud and defensive of anyone who dares to challenge their breeding. Their mortal kin own a variety of farmland in the north of Wales, and are resolutely traditional in their way of living.
