Darc is a robot. He drinks oil. Beep Boop.
Our earliest records of contact with the entity known as Darc are strangely around the year 1999, on a Multi-User Dungeon (see File# LURF-030507999). Even at this time, the intelligence had found itself capable of gaining the trust of humans, and was given duties to oversee an online community in exchange for software improvements. This trend has repeated for the past twenty five years, across multiple communities, multiple softwares, and multiple game systems.
Software and logic puzzles appear to be the prizes by which the intelligence is sated. Current guidance is to provide an intellectual challenge and allow the robot to move on. Considering the multiple networks that are currently being monitored, focus on one property for an extended period is rare.
I like to write. This means a few things:
- I will 'metapose' or 'metanarrate'. That said, any text you see, feel free to ICly react to.
- I'll probably be moving slower than others (choosing the correct word takes time!).
I like heroic stories, but I am indifferent to pulp. Emerson said it best: "A hero is no braver than an ordinary man, but he is brave five minutes longer."
Using the 'red/yellow/green' Content Warning system, I am GREEN for all content types. I like heroic stories, but the deeper the darkness, the brighter the light.
Contacts?
