Fausta
Fausta Castellano is another of London's teeming multitude of "came here to study about ten years ago and stayed for the night life" residents, just one of the many thousands of med school graduates the city is famous for churning out every year. She dresses well, she speaks Greek and she's rather impeccably polite even by British standards. She's also one of the criminal sort that hasn't been here long enough, or been careless enough yet, to have an actual police record. Rather than take that medical degree of hers and settle down as a general practitioner or pursue a more official academic line, she's opted to make her living rather outside the confines of the UK's National Health Service. Which is perfectly in line with her breeding, at least, as the oldest child of a former Athenian crime family.
She's most often seen around the City of Westminster and parts eastward as far as Tower Hamlets and Camden, clearly a north London urban type preferring the inner city to its outer boroughs. Wise enough to rarely travel alone at night -- London's an awfully dangerous place, after all -- Fausta is usually in someone's company and she's rather meticulous about the company she keeps.
It's also known that Fausta exists in London by explicit permission of the Camarilla Prince, as did her sire before her. Kindred who have lived a long time in the city will know of Petru Vaduva-Hugo at least by name, though it's unlikely he was out and about in public much. There are Elysium whispers that Fausta has taken up her sire's former position in the London praxis, but fewer and quieter whispers about what that position might be, exactly.
- Crime -- If you're the shady sort in need of her very particular set of skills, as they say, there's probably someone who knows how to get hold of "Doctor Faustus" for a prearranged fee at the Whitechapel location of her choice.
- Science: She's got both conventional and some decidedly unconventional expertise in her chosen field of biology. She's also an avid gardener with a particular flair for bonsai, which means she often frequents London's many outdoor parks and gardens.
- Academics: Fausta developed an undergraduate interest in early Greek/Byzantine studies. Classical philosophy and ethics now hold much deeper significance than she ever imagined in her Imperial College days.
- Private: Everyone's concerned about their privacy in modern times; Fausta's even more guarded than most. When she's out and about, it's often meaningful. Seemingly against type, she's frequently spotted around London's more upscale fetish clubs, particularly the Antichrist and Torture Garden.
- Alexandros. Ah, mikróteros aderfós mou. Our separate paths were brief, but you've outdone me again. You even shine by night.
- Britney. You cannot possibly be exactly as you seem. I'll figure it out.
- Jean-Baptiste. Reeking with secrets he's just aching to trade.
- Tabitha. Poor sweet thing, always so terribly nervous. Curious how you'll react when you learn the best part.
- Anne Bowesly. Well done. We shall see.
