We recognize that players often enjoy discussing games via external channels. If you want to create a Discord or Slack for communicating with other players and potential players, or participate in discussions on other social media, that’s fine! We see nothing to be gained by trying to prevent it, and we definitely don’t want to foster mistrust among our player base by creating incentives to inform on one another. We would, however, ask that you bear in mind the following two requests:

1) For channels or similar demi-permanent mediums, please be explicitly clear to all participants that they are unofficial discussion channels that do not necessarily represent the views or opinions of TowersMUX or its staff.

2) Please try to act in accordance with our Mission Statement (https://towersmux.net/index.php/mission-statement/) when discussing the game: be welcoming, inclusive, and cooperative.

TowersMUX staff does not monitor, moderate, or endorse forums or communications channels other than the game itself, the game website, and the game’s character wiki. Staff will never contact anyone by any other means when acting in an official capacity. The statements of anyone on any other medium who claims to be or to represent the opinions of TowersMUX staff should be discounted unless otherwise stated here.
